A few railroad crossings in Trussville will be closed next week while Norfolk Southern performs construction.
According to the Trussville Police Department, the crossing at Trussville Springs will close Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
On Friday, the railroad crossing at Commerce Drive will close from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Monday, Sept. 9, the railroad crossing at Carrington Drive will close from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Railroad crossings will be open for school and work traffic to minimize inconvenience, according to Trussville police.
