The Trussville Historical Society and Trussville City Schools are “Calling All Huskies Home” for a homecoming celebration Friday.
The event will start at 5 p.m. on the East Mall beside Jack Wood Stadium. All Hewitt-Trussville High School graduates are invited to come and bring their memorabilia to share with everyone in celebration of the 75th year of the historic school building on Parkway Drive and the last season in Jack Wood Stadium.
The Hewitt-Trussville Band Boosters and the Trussville Historical Society will be selling commemorative coffee mugs that will have an image of the school on one side and the stadium on the other and will be sold for each.
Hewitt-Trussville’s varsity football team hosts Minor at 7 p.m. Friday.
