More catering options are coming at the Trussville Civic Center.
The Trussville City Council on Tuesday approved a preferred catering list for the civic center in addition to The Happy Catering Company. The approval is subject to the approval of the city of Trussville’s attorney.
Approved were local businesses Jim ‘N Nick’s, Sherry’s Cafe, Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe and Chick-fil-A.
“We’re very pleased,” said Trussville Parks and Recreation Director David Vinson.
The Happy Catering Company will continue to hold the liquor license for events held at the civic center.
The move will allow for more food options at civic center events.
“I think this is huge for our city and civic center,” said Trussville City Councilman Alan Taylor.
