Hewitt-Trussville senior standout runner Veronica Lyle has committed to run cross country and track at the University of Alabama, per Huskies head coach David Dobbs.
Dobbs said Lyle also had offers from Samford and Ole Miss.
Lyle earlier this month won the individual 5,000-meter cross country race at the Scottsboro Invitational, which Hewitt-Trussville’s girls won.
Lyle placed seventh at the Chickasaw Trails Invitational earlier this month in the 5,000-meter run.
In August, Lyle placed fourth at the Montevallo Early Bird Classic in the 5,000-meter run.
