TRUSSVILLE — An alleged shoplifter at Walmart in Trussville ran from loss prevention authorities and struck an elderly man with his vehicle, according to police.
Trussville Police Department Lt. Jeff Bridges said the alleged shoplifter ran over an elderly man in the parking lot. The man’s injuries were minor, Bridges said.
The suspect got away, Bridges said.
The incident happened close to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
No other information was immediately available.
