TRUSSVILLE — A single-engine plane went down near the Cahaba Cove subdivision in Trussville this morning.
The plane was located by Trussville police on the back side of Pinebluff Lane and Cahaba Cove.
Three people from Virginia were on the plane. There were no serious injuries.
“They were very fortunate,” Police Chief Don Sivley said. “They were all walking around. No broken bones or anything serious. Just some bumps and bruises.”
Sivley said the plane went through some trees as it landed, but other than the plane itself, there was no property damage.
