TRUSSVILLE — The Eastern Women’s Junior Committee will host its annual Christmas Home Tour on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The EWJC Christmas Home Tour will showcase five homes decorated for the holidays in the Trussville area. All proceeds will benefit Independence Place. The five homes include the Stockton show home, the Marchant family home, the Fulton family home, the Floyd family home and the Filasek family home.
“The five homes we have on this year’s tour are truly stunning and will really provide some great ideas to people looking to elevate their own holiday décor,” said Ashley Glover, president of EWJC. “In addition to seeing these beautiful decorations, proceeds from the ticket sales go straight back to a local organization that is really doing our community a great service.”
Independence Place is a faith-based nonprofit organization created to meet the social and recreational needs of adults with special needs.
“The women of EWJC have so graciously taken Independence Place under their wings and given us the ability to continue our work and help these adults thrive,” said Carrie Jones, executive director of Independence Place. “Our participants enjoy the program because it helps keep them socially active after they leave the structured environment of high school.”
For tickets and more information, visit www.ewjc.org or find EWJC Christmas Home Tour on Facebook. Tickets are $10 each and all proceeds benefit Independence Place of Alabama.
