TRUSSVILLE — Four Trussville karate students earned black belts earlier this year.
Japan International Karate Academy students Alex Tran, John Henry Glenn, Logan Miller and Samson Glenn earned their black belts, said the students’ instructor, Michele Perkins.

In July, Tran won a silver medal at the USA National Karate Federation’s national competition in Greenville, S.C.
