TRUSSVILLE — Martie Duncan will speak at the Trussville Rotary Club meeting Wednesday at 7 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at 3230 Edwards Lake Parkway in Trussville.
Duncan was on Season 8 of “Food Network Star” last year. Representing the state of Alabama, Duncan competed on Alton Brown’s team for her own Food Network show.

She was the only member of the cast who has never been to culinary school or worked in the food industry. Duncan made it to the final four and when America voted for the winner, she finished as the runner-up.
During 20-plus years in the wedding business, Duncan worked with some of the world’s best caterers, florists, designers, party planners and stylists.
