The National Weather Service in Birmingham is predicting a potentially stormy weekend for Trussville, Clay and Pinson beginning at about 8 p.m. Saturday night and extending through early Sunday morning as a massive storm system moves our way.
The Tribune coverage area straddles a line of moderate to severe risk, but the risk level and area has changed several times as new data continues to be made available.
Saturday- A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 74. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Saturday Night- Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 9pm. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds. Low around 66. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
