JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received one report of a vehicle abandoned due to this week’s road conditions being broken into.
Chief Deputy Randy Christian said a vehicle was broken into in the 1800 block of Brewster Road in the Grayson Valley area. The report came in about 10:44 a.m. Wednesday.
Christian said the victim reported she had left her car there during the winter weather and someone had broken into it. A laptop and GPS were stolen, Christian said.
“It takes a pretty sorry person to take advantage of someone like that,” Christian said.
