CLAY — Clay-Chalkville junior running back Terrelle West has picked up his first SEC scholarship offer.
West was offered today by Mississippi State.
West and Clay-Chalkville defensive end Kendall Jones attended Junior Day at Mississippi State over the weekend.
West, The Trussville Tribune’s offensive player of the year from Clay-Chalkville, was the leading rusher on a Clay-Chalkville offense that scored the most points in school history (540) last season. He rushed 129 times for 1,181 yards and 11 touchdowns. West also caught 17 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 193 kickoff return yards.
West also holds scholarship offers from Cincinnati and South Alabama.
