TRUSSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville Middle School boys basketball team in February won the Metro South Conference Championship over Pizitz.
The team finished the season with a 21-4 overall record.

Damon Harper was named the conference tournament’s most valuable player. Jeffery Armstrong and Davis Burgin were named to the all-tournament team.
The team is coached by Shane Clay.
The team earlier this season won the Trussville Tip-Off Tournament and placed third in the Sonic Shoot-Out in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
