TRUSSVILLE — A political forum is tonight in Trussville for the three candidates for the House of Representatives District 44 seat.
The forum is at 7 p.m. at the Trussville Civic Center.
The forum is sponsored by the Republican Women of Trussville, the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Clay-Pinson Chamber of Commerce and The Trussville Tribune.

The candidates are Johnny Amari, Joe Freeman and Danny Garrett, all from Trussville.
Each candidate will have an opportunity, through pre-selected questions, to share their thoughts on current issues.
District 44 includes Clay, Pinson, Trussville and part of northeast Jefferson County. The District 44 seat is open because of the retirement of Rep. Arthur Payne.
Primaries are June 3.
