TRUSSVILLE — A celebration of life is scheduled Monday for Beatrize Mirelez, the 21-year-old Trussville woman who died in a car crash Monday, April 7.
The celebration of life will be Monday, April 14 at NorthPark Baptist Church on Deerfoot Parkway in Trussville. It will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the second floor of the church. There will be a speaker at 7 p.m.
The attire for the celebration of life is casual.
The family asks that those who want to do something, bring flowers so that the family can transfer them to the crash site, on County Road 10 between Smith Sims Road and the Cahaba Cove subdivision in Trussville.
Police believe Mirelez lost control of the vehicle around a curve and ended up down an embankment in a wooded area. Trussville Police Department Lt. Jeff Bridges said police believe Mirelez was driving north on the road and crossed through the southbound lanes when she lost control. Authorities aren’t sure if slick roadways caused Mirelez to crash.
