JEFFERSON COUNTY — Authorities are searching for burglary suspects after an early-morning chase that ended in Jefferson County near Trussville.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jack Self said the chase began with a burglary in Odenville. Odenville police chased the suspects to Derby Parkway near Interstate 459, where the suspects fled on foot.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office sent units to aid in the search of the area, Self said. The sheriff’s office was not involved in the vehicle pursuit, Self said.
Birmingham Police Department Sgt. Sean Edwards said the department assisted the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office with locating two burglary suspects. He said the suspects are not yet in custody.
