TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club walked away with several ribbons and certificates from its district-wide meeting April 11-12.
District 6860 held its annual meeting at the Courtyard by Marriott Grandview on U.S. Highway 280 with approximately 200 people in attendance.
The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club received certificates for youth programs and initiatives, and also for literacy. The awards recognized the club’s commitment to its weekly reading program at Paine Primary School.
The club received ribbons in recognition for its involvement with the Interact Club at Hewitt-Trussville High School and also for achievement regarding public relations for the club.
