TRUSSVILLE –The National Weather Service in Birmingham has forecast temperatures in the 80’s for the early part of the week, with rain chances escalating by Wednesday.
Here’s a look at this week’s weather picture for the Trussville, Clay and Pinson area.
- Monday -A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4 p.m. Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 87. Light southeast wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
- Monday Night -A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
- Tuesday -A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 86. Light southeast wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
- Tuesday Night -A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Southeast wind around 5 mph.
- Wednesday -Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
- Wednesday Night -Showers and thunderstorms likely before 8 p.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
- Thursday -Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
- Thursday Night -Mostly clear, with a low around 50.
- Friday -Sunny, with a high near 75.
- Friday Night -Mostly clear, with a low around 51.
