PINSON — A local fourth-grader and Girl Scout presented her Girl Scouts project to the Pinson City Council earlier this month.
Makenzie Johnson proposed to re-do the flower beds around the monument in Triangle Park in Pinson.
“We have already started fundraising and acquiring donations and supplies and we plan on doing the rebuilding and planting on Friday night, May 30 and Saturday morning, May 31,” the girl’s mother, Pam Johnson said at the city council’s May 15 meeting.
