HOMEWOOD — The Jefferson County Board of Education on Tuesday approved Clements Dean to provide services to repair the football field at Willie Adams Stadium on the Pinson Valley High School campus.
The cost will be $34,800.
The work to be done is “remediation services,” said Jefferson County Deputy Superintendent of Administrative Services Yancy Morris.
The work to be done will be to get the field through this season. The work is not “total correction,” Morris said.
After this season, more permanent measures to repair the field will likely be taken.
