TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville 12U National baseball team on June 16 beat Shades Mountain 20-8 to win the 2014 Metro 12U Championship.
Trussville finished the tournament undefeated at 9-0 and an overall season record of 16-0. The championship game was well played by Trussville. Four pitchers — Austin Hicks, Caleb Kettering, Davis Harper and Logan Blank — pitched for Trussville.
