TRUSSVILLE — A new Italian ice and gelato shop has opened in Trussville.
Icebergs recently opened at 110 Glenn Ave. in downtown Trussville.
In other news, the next Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon will be Thursday, July 17, and newly elected State House District 44 Rep. Danny Garrett will be the featured speaker.
Also in Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce news, the annual golf tournament at Limestone Springs Golf Course in Oneonta fielded a total of 82 golfers. The Alabama Power Company team won the tournament, Bryant Bank finished second, and Jason Reese and Friends finished third. Zeke Smith won closest to the pin and Ed Davidson won longest drive.
Wintzell’s Oyster House is “coming soon” to Trussville, according to a post on its website. The restaurant will be located at 5893 Trussville Crossing Blvd. The post states to stay tuned for information on hiring and a grand opening.
“We look forward to being a member of the Trussville community,” the post states.
