TRUSSVILLE — Jefferson County Game Warden Kerry Bradford is working with the city of Trussville regarding the missing small pets in the Maplewood subdivision.
Bradford said it’s been reported that several small pets are missing and one was killed. At least three residents of Maplewood have seen a large “cat-type animal,” Bradford said.
Bradford met with Mayor Gene Melton on Monday to come up with a plan.
“We’ll be working with the city and utilizing trail surveillance cameras to gather information in areas of concern,” said Bradford, the county’s game warden since 2007.
