TRUSSVILLE — For safety and convenience purposes, North Chalkville Road and the intersecting streets will be opened for traffic Friday, July 4 from 4 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., according to the Trussville Police Department.
The Trussville Freedom Celebrationis scheduled for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on The Mall.
“Please drive safely, do not block driveways, or park on the side of the streets where there are no parking signs or traffic barrels,” a post on the department’s Facebook page states. “We look forward to seeing you there. If we may be of assistance please see one of our officers on duty or check with us at our command center located in the Public Safety Section at the Southeast side of the Mall. Please remember those who have and are serving to provide the freedom which we will be celebrating. We hope you have a happy and safe Fourth of July holiday.”
