BIRMINGHAM — Hosted by State Superintendent of Education Tommy Bice, the 12-stop “The Future of Public Education” tour will highlight important topics for students and families in Alabama, including PLAN 2020, the Alabama College- and Career-Ready Standards, student testing, accountability, and the importance of parental and community involvement.
The closest area stop is Thursday, Sept. 4 at G.W. Carver High School at 3900 24th St. N. in Birmingham.
Presentations will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Questions and answers will be offered from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
