PINSON — Residents of the Aspen Ridge subdivision off Highway 75 who aren’t yet inside Pinson city limits will get a chance to make that happen.
An annexation referendum is set for Tuesday, Sept. 9 for those residents to vote on whether or not to annex into the city of Pinson. Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
A Jefferson County probate judge approved of the annexation referendum in early August. The vote will be held at 5080 Gold Leaf Lane. Absentee ballots are available at Pinson City Hall.
Over 60 percent of the subdivision has already been annexed into the city.
