JEFFERSON COUNTY — It won’t be as long of a second weekend in October for Jefferson County Schools students after all.
The school system has announced that Friday, Oct. 10 will be a full school day.
The original plan was for one-half day of school that day. Students won’t come to school Monday, Oct. 13 but teachers will, since it’s a professional day.
