WASHINGTON — CNN is reporting that Eric Holder will resign from his post as U.S. Attorney General on Thursday afternoon.
The news agency reported that Holder finalized his plans to resign in a Labor Day weekend meeting with President Barack Obama.
According to the report, Holder has agreed to remain in his post until the confirmation of his successor.
