TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Council last week voted to amend its contract with engineering firm LBYD for Husky Parkway and Trussville-Clay Road improvements.
The amendment is for additional charges for the Corps of Engineers’ permit assistance and right-of-way acquisition assistance, as well as final Alabama Department of Transportation coordination on the Husky Parkway bridge and Trussville-Clay Road improvement projects.
The amendment totaled $27,800.
In other news, the city council voted to hire Andrew Lee Peterson as the provisional Trussville Parks and Recreation superintendent effective Oct. 27. Tommy Trimm was appointed to the Downtown Redevelopment Authority and the city has created a magistrate supervisor position.
