TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Council recently approved of CDG Engineering looking for any environmental problems at two addresses in downtown Trussville.
The addresses are 156 and 158 Main St.

The goal of Trussville city officials is to make the downtown area more walkable.

The cost is $4,500 and will take a couple weeks to complete, Trussville Mayor Gene Melton said.
Melton said that depending on what’s found, these addresses could become a part of a number of properties the city has identified as inventory for the Downtown Redevelopment Authority to encourage the redevelopment of the downtown district.
