TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Council last week approved a resolution authorizing withdrawals from the education trust fund.
According to the resolution, the city council finds it necessary, desirable and in the public interest that the city and the Trussville City Board of Education acquire, provide and install various security and public safety communication equipment and devices at the city’s schools.
The acquisition and installation is estimated to cost not in excess of 4,916.
The resolution also states that the city’s general fund be reimbursed for expenditures made related to acquiring and providing vehicles and equipment and various other security matters related to the schools. Those costs are estimated to not exceed 9,852.
The funds needed for these purposes are being withdrawn from the Trussville City Public School Capital Improvement Trust Fund.
