PINSON — Just after 6:30 p.m. Monday a black male wearing a gray hoodie, toboggan and pajama pants entered the CVS located at 6665 Highway 75 in Pinson.
He produced a handgun and demanded money from the cashier, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect allegedly took the cash drawer and fled on foot into a nearby wooded area.
He is described as a black male, 5-foot-8 and 155 pounds. He was wearing dark blue pajama pants, a gray hoodie and a gray toboggan.
Deputies are in the area searching for the suspect at this time.
No one was injured during the robbery.
