TRUSSVILLE — Clearbranch United Methodist Church in Trussville is hosting a men’s conference Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Speakers at the conference will be former University of Alabama and Seattle Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander, former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker, and former Auburn University quarterbacks Stan White and Ben Leard.
Doors open at 8 a.m.
All middle school and high school age boys get in free and receive a free Chick-fil-A lunch. All other men can purchase a ticket for $40, which also includes lunch.
Called the Lead Conference, the goal is to attract men of all ages to attend, engage, equip themselves for the battle, and allow God to transform them into spiritual leaders.
“Our hope and belief, through the schedule of speakers and their testimonies, is that men of all ages will accept the challenge to become the men God calls us all to be,” states the event’s website, www.leadmen.org.
