TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Council on Thursday approved its 2013-2014 fiscal year audit.
Jennifer Sherman of Till, Hester, Eyer & Brown, P.C. said it was a “clean” audit.
She said the city did a “phenomenal” job of keeping its expenses down that fiscal year, despite many refundings of warrants.
Sherman said the city was doing the “best as you possibly can.”
Councilman Brian Plant said that’s the way an audit should be.
“We want this to be bedtime reading,” he said. “An audit should be boring. If it’s a page-turner it’s a problem.”
