TRUSSVILLE — Trussville native Jordan Fisher has signed a recording deal with DMG’s Hollywood Records.
“I’m elated to be a part of the Hollywood Records family,” Fisher said in a statement. “The love and support everyone has for me here is incredible and beyond inspiring. I can’t thank everyone enough, and I can’t wait to share my music with the world.”
Fisher has been training and working as an actor, singer, songwriter, dancer and choreographer since he was 10 years old.
DMG’s Dani Markham welcomed Fisher to DMG’s Hollywood Records.
“Words can’t express how excited I am to welcome Jordan to the Hollywood Records family,” Markham said. “Jordan is an extraordinarily gifted singer, writer and musician. There is no doubt that he is on his way to a hugely successful career and I am thrilled for the opportunity to be on this journey with him. He has so much soul and passion, and is going to make significant contributions to the musical landscape in the months and years to come.”
Fisher is one of the stars of Disney Channel’s “Teen Beach Movie” and he will also appear in “Teen Beach 2” set for release this summer.
Fisher first became popular as the character, Jacob, on ABC’s “Secret Life of The American Teenager.” He was also seen guest starring on Nickelodeon’s “The Thundermans” and will be a recurring guest star on a Disney show “Liv and Maddie.”
