BIRMINGHAM — Survey says: You could be on “Family Feud.”
The My68 game show will hold auditions in Birmingham on April 18-19. A specific location for auditions isn’t yet known.
Those wishing to try out should request an audition by sending an email to Alabama@familytryouts.com.
The show encourages applicants to include pictures and video in their emails. If you include a video in your email, at least five family members are required. Families are asked to briefly introduce themselves, tell where they’re from and be creative.
To be eligible for the show, there must be five family members related by blood, marriage or legal adoption. Applicants must be United States citizens or have permission to work in the U.S.
If anyone on the team knows or is related to anyone employed by FremantleMedia, Debmar-Mercury, Wanderlust Productions, any affiliate that carries “Family Feud,” or any Steve Harvey production including The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, they’re ineligible.
If anyone on the team is running for political office or has been on more than two game shows in the last year they’re ineligible.
If any team member has appeared on “Family Feud” before, it must 10 years since the prior appearance to be eligible to play again. There is no age requirement to be on “Family Feud,” but it’s suggested that contestants are 15 years or older due to the content of the questions.
“Family Feud” airs weeknights at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on My68.
