Quang Do, a 2008 Hewitt-Trussville High School graduate and coordinator of student activities at UAB, spoke at the event, which challenged attendees to take the ideas they hear at the event and create transformation in their communities through action.
Do, a spoken-word poet, was featured in one of the sessions.
