CENTER POINT – One unnamed man has been arrested for the robbery of a Family Dollar store in the 2000 block of Center Point Parkway.
Another suspect remains at large in relation to the crime, which was executed around 10:20 this morning.
According to a press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, two black males reportedly entered the store armed with handguns and collected cigarettes and money before running from the scene on foot. No one was harmed.
One of the two suspects was later captured by deputies at a nearby apartment complex. A handgun along with an amount of cash was found upon arrival.
Authorities are currently conducting a search for the second suspect, which has been described as a black male wearing a gray hoodie and black pants.
