From staff reports
TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) has moved from a building that it’s called home for 26 years.
The move started on Parkway Drive in Trussville and ended at 400 Main Street in downtown Trussville, across the street from Captain D’s.
A ribbon cutting and open house will be held this Friday, June 5, from noon to 2 p.m.
According to TACC Executive Director Diane Poole, the move will prove to be an upgrade for the chamber, which has grown in size over the years. Poole sees the bigger venue as an opportunity to host more local events.
“Our staff has grown, and so have the number of community events and member activities,” said Poole. Our Parkway Drive Building served us very well for many years, but it could no longer accommodate all the things our chamber now does for our community and for our members.”
