PINSON – This year’s CMA Fest in Nashville, TN. Is scheduled to kick off on June 13th, and a band made up of local musicians will take the stage.
The band known as “John and Jacob” is expected to perform on the Hard Rock stage at 12:30 p.m. next Saturday. “John and Jacob” features Birmingham natives Jacob Bryant, John Davidson, Jake Thrasher and Trevor Davis along with Texan Austin Taylor Smith.
That group made the move to Nashville roughly four years ago. While in the Music City, the band has steadily grown its success.
Their song “Be My Girl” was aired on the hit TV show “Nashville”. Also, The Band Perry co-wrote “Done” with the local artists.
Recently, “John and Jacob” has toured with Kacey Musgraves, played the “Mane” Stage at SXSW Music Festival, performed at the Shaky Boots Music Festival, and supported Chicago at Loessfest.
