From Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE –The search for Pei Yen Sung, 61, of Trussville continued Saturday night with the police pursuing all leads, but not having anything new to report. Sung was reported missing from her Longmeadow neighborhood on Friday.
“We’ve checked out every lead as soon as they come in, but they haven’t led anywhere, yet,” Trussville police captain Jeff Bridges said. “There have been a dozen or so and we’ll continue to check out anything that comes in. We want to find her.”

“It is believed that Pei Yen Sung went out for her daily neighborhood walk and has not returned,” Bridges said earlier. “We don’t have a description of clothes, but she does normally wear a large floppy type hat when walking.”
Bridges described Sung as a 61-year-old Asian female. She is 5 feet tall, weighs 118 lbs and resides in Longmeadow.
Tribune readers responded with concern for Sung’s well being when news that she was missing broke earlier on Saturday.
