The young women of Girl Scout Troop 872 love to travel. According to leader Allison Rudick, the small group of Cadette (middle school-age) Girl Scouts have been to many cities and campgrounds over the past eight years. Their experiences led to a desire to earn a Travel IP (Interested Project) Badge by creating a website to pass on what they have learned about planning a vacation or trip.
“They created a website along with some FREE Travel Worksheets for anyone to download,” said Rudick. “We hope the worksheets and information on the website will help people plan their next family or group trip.”
The site is http://gstravel4fun.weebly.com and is loaded with worksheets, travel games, useful links and other travel-related information.
“We wanted to know if the Trussville Tribune would be willing to share the website so people could use the worksheets to help them plan their summer vacation,” said Rudick.
