TRUSSVILLE – The Alabama High School Athletic Association is presenting its North-South all-star high school softball game tonight in Montgomery.

The contest, which begins at 5 p.m., will feature a pair of Hewitt-Trussville stars. Senior pitcher Bailey Murphy and senior shortstop Maddie Dorsett will take the field at Montgomery’s Lagoon Park for the North roster. Both rosters are made up of 18 upcoming seniors.
Dorsett and Murphy will be coached by Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa’s Ted Swinney, Colbert Heights’ Brad James and Bob Jones’ Kent Chambers.
The game can be watched here. Like the other all-stars, both Dorsett and Murphy were nominated by high school coaches from around the state.
