WARRIOR — The Blount County Sheriff’s Office was notified around 10 a.m. of a domestic dispute from North Alabama that progressed to a car chase on Interstate 65 South according to Carol Robinson of AL.com.
According to the story, Blount County investigator Tom Sartain said the people knew one another and the dispute led to them getting on the Interstate and driving at a high rate of speed while bumping the cars, possibly attempting to intentionally wreck each other.
While they were driving, the story reads, one gunshot was fired, but there were no injuries.
Both drivers were taken into custody.
