CENTER POINT — The annual Center Point Area Chamber of Commerce golf tournament is scheduled for Oct. 7 at the Roebuck Golf Course.
This fundraiser’s proceeds benefit both the Center Point Ambassador Scholarship Fund as well as the Children’s Miracle Network.
“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” event coordinator Tim Gann said. “All of the proceeds benefit our city and a great charity.”
A four-person scramble event, the cost is $100 per person or $400 for a team. Pre-registration is encouraged.
“It’s important for teams to pre-register so we can plan for our catered lunch,” Gann said.
The lunch is included in the entry fee.
Each year the number of teams entered varies, but each hole and drink cart is sponsored, and that allows the chamber to be able to fund the scholarship and give to the Children’s Miracle Network as well.
Registration for the event and lunch will be at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon.
