TRUSSVILLE — The Drug Enforcement Agency and Trussville Police Department are working together to create a safe and responsible way to return unused prescription medicine through the National Take Back Initiative Collection program.
Trussville police will be handling their local event on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 131 Main Street in Trussville.
The program is designed to take back unused prescriptions, but also to educate the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
This is the 10th annual national campaign for this event.
