CLAY – Clay-Chalkville worked its way to another non-area win on Tuesday night over visiting Briarwood Christian. Coach Natasha Brown and her Cougars took the contest 25-17, 25-12 and 25-9.
Senior Annastasia Brackin continued her strong campaign with 28 assists, seven digs and a pair of kills. Mekaila Hill, a sophomore, went to work on offense and defense, recording 13 kills, three aces and four blocks.
Kardasia Hitchcock went for a team-high 14 kills, nine aces and nine digs.
Clay-Chalkville (11-5, 3-0) will now prepare for a tri match at Minor High School on Thursday.
