TRUSSVILLE — Wryn Harbor Graydon is an infant who was diagnosed with congenital nephrotic syndrome on Sept. 21, and a crowd-funding account has been set up to help her family with medical expenses during this trying time.
A GoFundMe account has already reached nearly ,000, while a Booster.com account has raised ,400 by selling t-shirts.
Wryn is only two months old.
Congenital nephrotic syndrome is described by Wikipedia as ” a very rare form of nephrotic syndrome. It occurs predominantly in families of Finnish origin and manifests shortly after birth. It is an inherited disorder. The condition is caused by a defect in the protein nephrin, which is found in the kidney.”.
Sunny Jones, who created the accounts, asks that if a monetary donation cannot be made to please pray for the healing of Wryn.
