The Trussville City Board of Education will meet Sept. 17, Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 14. All board meetings are at 6 p.m. at the Central Office.

Jazzercise at Trussville Civic Center

The Sons of Confederate Veterans meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at First Baptist Church Trussville at 7 p.m.
AL School of Math and Science meeting
Students and their parents are invited to an informational meeting about admission to the Alabama School of Math and Science, the state’s only public, residential high school for Alabama’s brightest and most talented students. All current 9th and 10th grade Alabama students are eligible to apply. Because ASMS is a state-sponsored public school, tuition, room, and board are free. The meeting in Birmingham will be held Thursday, Oct. 22, 6 p.m. at UAB Heritage Hall, room 104.
Birmingham Genealogy Society meeting
The Birmingham Genealogy Society will meet on Saturday, October 24 in the Birmingham Public Library Auditorium at 2:00 pm. Members will be displaying their family genealogy projects and visitors are welcome to attend!
