TRUSSVILLE — Two men entered the Captain D’s restaurant on US 11 in Trussville and robbed employees at gunpoint around 9:50 p.m. Friday night according to Trussville police.
Authorities said two black males entered the business wearing bandannas over their faces and pointed handguns at the employees. The suspects ordered employees to the back to draw money from the safe. Afterwards, they ordered employees to then empty the cash registers. More than $1,000 was stolen from the store.
Trussville police is still investigating the crime.
